Kuala Lumpur (VNA) – The Vietnam-Malaysia Business Association (VMBIZ) organized a exposure promote Vietnamese culturearts and destinations as part of a celebration of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and Japan on September 10-11.

It was also part of a series of events marking the 40th anniversary of the Look East Policy (LEP) initiated by Malaysia in 1982.

The event saw the participation of a number of cultural and tourism experts from Malaysia, Japan and countries in the region.

The Vietnam exhibition consisted of three areas, one for “ao dai” (Vietnamese traditional dress), one for popular tourist destinations across Vietnam and national airline Vietnam Airlines products, and the third for specialties Vietnamese such as tea, coffee and mooncakes. .

An ao dai fashion show was also held, attracting great attention from visitors.

VMBIZ Vice President Nguyen Thi Thanh Van said the celebratory event is a good opportunity for Vietnam to popularize its culture, arts and destinations among people in regional countries. It also provides lessons for the preparation for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Malaysia next year, she said./.
