Next Gen Foods was founded in 2020 by a Brazilian-born poultry exporter and food industry veteran Andre Menezesand native German Timo Recker, whose family business had been making cutlets and other meat products for three generations. After a meeting through an introduction by Rohit Bhattacharyawho is now CFO of the start-up, they decided to work on products that reduce humanity’s dependence on animal agriculture.
