Treat your taste buds to the best street food in the county at the Chatham Maritime Food and Drink Festival.
Celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee weekend, Thursday 2nd June to Sunday 5th June with a feast of gastronomic delights in the town of Medway.
This outstanding four-day festival takes place in Dock Square, overlooking Chatham’s water and maritime estate, near the historic Chatham Dockyard, and will bring together food from a variety of independent traders.
Visitors can expect some of the best food in the county, with many local producers setting up shop on weekends.
Some of the Kent-based stalls that will be open during the festival include Hide and Greek and Rad Burger, both from Canterbury, and the Kent Cider Company from Faversham.
There will also be a number of local artisan producers serving international cuisine such as Brazilian, Japanese, Spanish and more.
If you’ve had your fill of food and drink, you can take part in the many activities that take place on the waterfront, from dragon boat racing to endurance sailing. If you are taking youngsters with you there will be a fairground and a messy play area for them to enjoy.
When you’ve tired, sit down with a cool drink and listen to the lineup of live music and DJs who will be playing plenty of feel-good music throughout the festival.
Make the most of the long weekend with this delicious food and drink festival.
