Touchwood Shopping Center in Solihull has significantly expanded its dining offerings with the opening of four new restaurants totaling nearly 10,000 square feet of space.
The four restaurants will generate a combined annual rent of around £350,000, plus additional top-ups, underscoring the restaurants’ continued demand for space in Touchwood. Real Greek signed a new 15-year lease on a 3,679 square foot unit with an outdoor seating area overlooking Jubilee Gardens, while Spanish tapas bar Alioli opened its first restaurant, taking 3,790 square feet.
Additionally, Dirty Wild Wings launched its first physical outlet, building on the fried chicken brand’s successful online presence to date. The new range is completed by Café Artari – an Italian restaurant supported by a team including celebrity chef Aldo Zilli whose history dates back to 1886 – with the introduction of an upscale dining experience located in one of the main Touchwood atriums.
The newcomers are further expanding dining options in Touchwood, in line with the strategy devised by owner The Ardent Companies UK (“Ardent UK”) and asset manager Sovereign Centros. The center has also seen notable retailer arrivals this year, with major openings from Tag Heuer, electric cars Polestar, Japanese-inspired lifestyle brand Miniso, high-end home appliance maker Miele and the Rituals cosmetics store.
