Netflix announces new seasons of GBBS, Nailed It! and other food contests

Netflix cooks up a stellar list of food shows. On Friday, the streamer announced its lineup of foodie favorites through the end of the year, with Britain’s Greatest Baking Fair, Nailed it!and other shows are slated to return this fall and winter.

Returning series include a pizza-centric season of Chef’s table, The great British pastry fair Season 10, Nailed it!, Somebody Feed Philand The great British pastry fair: the holidays.

New food programming coming to Netflix includes Easy-Bake Battle: the home cooking contest, Beverage Masters, Snack versus chefand Cook at all costs.

Chef’s Table: Pizza

Premieres September 7

Synopsis: The long-time culinary hit returns with a season all about pizza. From Portland to Phoenix, Italy to Japan, step into the kitchens of chefs whose creativity elevates this ordinary dish to an art form through their unique flavors, inspiring backgrounds and passion for creating the perfect slice. .

The Big 10 UK Baking Fair Collection

Fall 2022 premieres

Synopsis: The great British pastry fair follows a group of amateur bakers as they compete in a series of challenges, attempting to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith with their baking skills. One contestant is eliminated each week and the winner is selected from the contestants who reach the final.

Nailed it! Season 7

Premieres October 5

Synopsis: The Emmy-nominated series is back with a season full of tricks and treats as we celebrate Halloween. With ghoulish surprises from some favorite Netflix shows – Umbrella Academy, Cobra Kaiand the witcherthe desserts are deliberately scary this time!

Easy-Bake Battle: the home cooking contest

Premieres October 12

Synopsis: Life is complicated, but cooking doesn’t have to be! Walk in Easy Bake Battlea new series of cooking competitions inspired by Hasbro’s iconic Easy-Bake Oven, featuring skilled and ultra-smart home cooks, all with a ton of heart and soul, competing and using their cooking hacks against the more resourceful to prove who can make the easiest, fastest, and most delicious food.

Somebody Feed Phil Season 6

Premieres October 18

Synopsis: Everybody loves Raymond designer Phil Rosenthal travels the world to discover local cuisine and culture. This season will feature Phil traveling to all new destinations including Croatia, Philadelphia, Nashville, Austin and Santiago and will include a special tribute episode to Phil’s parents, Helen and Max.

Beverage Masters

Premieres October 28

Synopsis: Twelve of the world’s most innovative mixologists infuse, stir and mix through a series of high-stakes cocktail challenges to win a life-changing prize and the title of The Ultimate Drink Master.

The great British pastry fair: the holidays Season 5

Premieres November 18

Synopsis: Decorate the halls with sugar, butter and chocolate as contestants from previous seasons bake up wonderful winter treats for judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.

Snack versus chef

Premieres November 30

Synopsis: Hosted by comedians Megan Stalter and Hari Kondabolu, this new culinary competition sees 12 chefs compete in the ultimate snack showdown. Not only will they have to recreate some of the world’s most iconic snacks, but they’ll also be challenged to invent their own original snacks inspired by beloved classics. Only one will win and claim the $50,000 prize.

Cook at all costs

Premieres December 16

Synopsis: Do luxury ingredients always make the best dishes? Or can we turn humble objects into a recipe for success? Hosted by chef and restaurateur Jordan Andino, Cook at all costs is a cooking contest where skill meets strategy, as three home cooks put their money where their mouths must bid on ingredients in a high-stakes auction kitchen. With $25,000 in the bank, home cooks will have to decide if they want to bid big for the best ingredients, save their money for the essentials, or bet on a surprise – because at the end of the day, the cook who best impresses our star guest the chef will earn all the money left in his bank. Can the THRIFTY dish topple the CHER dish or will the WILDCARD impress the guest judge for the win? This is Cook at all costs!
