The Nintendo February Fest is about to begin

According to Tweeter, on February 10, gamers in the region can expect to walk away with full hearts and lighter wallets as there will be a massive sale on Nintendo’s e-shop. Information is sparse on the exact games that would go on sale; however, fans have the number of games included to leave in the meantime.

Notably, more than 1000 games would go on sale next Thursday, which is by no means a low number. However, fans are wary that a majority of this selection would include shovels. For the uninitiated, “Shovelware” refers to video games with questionable quality and, sometimes, entertainment standards. You will often find such titles paired with better performing titles in bundles.

Sales often become an easy way to sell those titles that otherwise wouldn’t generate much interest among gamers. And the internet seems suspicious.

Significantly, Nintendo has had a plethora of sales lately. Although fans wait to see which major titles will see their prices reduced on Thursday, gamers in the past have been able to snag titles like Ori and the Blind forest, and even the original Doom remake. And the players are getting ready.

The sale starts at 1500 CET. Nintendo continues to up the ante for its recent sales, and with the Switch’s popularity at an all-time high, gamers can’t wait to see some of the biggest titles on sale this time around. Nintendo is also offering double Nintendo Gold Points on select titles through February 28; if you’re on the hunt for these titles, now might be a good time to finally pull the trigger.
