In addition, its functions include venture capital investment in startups to solve social issues, as well as the Africa Business Acceleration Program. The collaboration with DFP allows not only KiliMOL, but also the whole MOL group to create new companies in Africa by networking with African companies in various fields. MOL positions the regional strategy among its main business strategies. The group plans to help establish local food value chains and alleviate the problem of poverty in Africa by entering areas such as the sale of agricultural machinery and new businesses in logistics and agriculture.

(Note 1) Please refer to the press release of April 27, 2021: MOL will establish “KiliMOL”, a cross-border e-commerce service to deliver used agricultural machinery to Africa.
