The recent introduction of the Omakase-style Yakiniku concept to Miyabi, a popular Japanese restaurant located within the Sheraton Petaling Jaya, promises to further enhance the dining experience with its grilled portions of premium A5 Wagyu Japanese beef.
Literally carrying the meaning of grilled meat, Yakiniku is a must-have culinary style that originated in Japan. Omakase meaning “The choice is yours”, guests who opt for the Omakase-style Yakiniku will leave the choice of dishes to the skilled chefs. Those who prefer to grill their own meats and seafood to order can opt for the course which includes various cuts of beef and fresh seafood served in private dining rooms.
Considered the highest quality for Japanese Wagyu, A5 Wagyu beef comes from prefectures in western Japan and is Halal certified by JAKIM. The seafood that makes up the mouthwatering menu is also imported directly from Japan and personally purchased by Japanese chef Tetsuya Yanagida.
With the chef’s deeply rooted philosophy and passion for preserving the art of authentic Japanese cuisine, he has spent over 20 years honing his skills, from his hometown of Tokyo to the highly regarded restaurants of Kuala Lumpur, leading finally to the creation of the Omakase style Yakiniku.
