Whatever hold Jack Harlow has on the general populace, KFC has the same on him. The “WHATS POPPIN” rapper is obsessed with Southern-style fast food. If you had the fried chicken sandwich, you get it. And now Kentucky Fried Chicken is releasing an exclusive menu featuring Harlow’s must-have order.
Starting March 24, KFC is launching Jack Harlow’s Kentucky Fried Favorites on the KFC app and site, including a spicy chicken sandwich, secret recipe fries, extra crispy offerings, and a side of Mac & Cheese and biscuits.
“Partnering with KFC feels like poetic justice. I started traveling the world, and no matter how far I go, KFC is one of the first things people want to talk about when they find out where I’m coming,” Jack Harlow said in a press release. “I’m excited to align myself with something that started in Kentucky, but resonates around the world. I grew up going out to restaurants with my family, here are some of the menu items I enjoy since I was a child.”
Harlow, himself a native of Louisville, recently traveled to his hometown to meet KFC head chef Chris Scott for a bit behind the scenes before feasting on his own exclusive menu.
“It goes without saying that our classics will never go out of style, but as Jack’s favorites, some of them achieve celebrity status,” KFC CMO Nick Chavez said in the statement. “We’re thrilled to make Jack’s favorites available now on the KFC app, and we can’t wait to share what’s next with Jack Harlow and KFC. Stay tuned. You won’t want to miss it.”
