If you’re a Houston diner who enjoys social media posts of spectacular dishes as much as special menus, then Hidden Omakase has a treat for you. The 20-seat sushi bar at 5353 W. Alabama is hosting a pop-up collaboration between Norigami (Hidden Omakase’s monthly sushi pop-up concept) and Dallas-based company Sandoichithe Japanese sandwich brand that’s making an Instagram splash for its meticulously constructed sandos.

the Norigami x Sandoïtchi the event – a 10-course tasting menu – will take place March 28 and 29 with two services per evening, at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The tasting menu is $200 per person and reservations will open March 23 at 6 p.m. am on Norigami’s booking page.
The dinners will be an opportunity to experience the work of Sandoichi Concept Chef Stevie Nguyen in collaboration with Norigami Chef Cong Nguyen and Hidden Omakase Executive Chef Niki Vongthong. The menu will feature dishes such as wagyu donburi and scallop crudo from Norigami and strawberry and cream sando from Sandoitchi.
