Heritage Asian Eatery Goods
Vancouver, BC | Fans of Heritage Asian Eatery will find an intriguing mix of new and old when they visit the Pender Street location (1108 West Pender St.) in September, as the restaurant debuts a cocktail menu, of beer and wine, amidst a refreshed interior style inspired by old Shanghai.
From September 19, guests can pair their favorites from the Heritage menu with beer, wine or a choice from the new list of innovative, enticing and cleverly named cocktails. The list includes Guadalajara San, an exotic blend of tequila blanco, umeshu plum, fresh lemon juice, green tea syrup and whiskey barrel bitters; the Berry Fraiche, a bright blend of strawberry-infused vodka, fresh lemon juice and Thai basil syrup; Dragòn del Mercado, with watermelon-infused mezcal, Amaro Montenegro, Aperol and Hoja Santa bitters; and the Cold Fuchsia’n, a fruity blend of blackberry-infused gin, pineapple, fresh lemon juice and apricot liqueur.
“This is the first time we’ve offered beer, wine or cocktails at either location,” says owner Paul Zhang. “It adds a new element to the Heritage experience and we are excited about this next evolution. We know our customers will enjoy pairing new and classic dishes with their choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
They’ll appreciate the new look, too – the popular 40-seat restaurant’s decor doesn’t give way to delicious Asian comfort food, but holds its own with a fun take on historic Shanghai.
With the new look and the drinks menu, it is also an opportunity to welcome guests to Happy Hour, every day from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Besides the specially priced drinks, Heritage fans will find several tasty dishes at reduced prices in the late afternoon, including Wings, XLB (Xiao Long Bao), Siu Mai Truffle, Fried Cauliflower, Black Sesame Balls and more.
