French catering brand, Côte, has unveiled a new summer menu, which it describes as ‘the biggest evolution of its cuisine in its 15-year history’ – and it’s now served at its bustling Cheltenham restaurant in Montpelier.
Created by Côte’s new executive chef, Steve Allen – who was previously executive chef with Gordon Ramsay at Claridge’s – the modern French menu is available from May 2022.
The new menu features new additions to its people-pleasing classics, includes a new sharing platter with French charcuterie, melty baked camembert, twice-baked ‘partition’ bread drizzled with olive oil olive and sprinkled with rosemary leaves, alongside pickles, honey sweetened tomatoes and marinated olives.
Another new addition to the Côte’s summer menu for Gloucestershire carnivores is the signature Côte de Boeuf – the Côte de Boeuf sharing experience – which is aged for 30 days in the rock salt aging room at the Himalayas specially built by the restaurant chain. And there are some vibrant vegan options, too, including a new celeriac fricassee.
But perhaps most excitingly, the new dessert menu features decadent espresso martini pancakes, served with a small jug of hot martini-infused chocolate sauce – cheers!
