This elegant Japanese restaurant puts the spotlight on yakitori (meaning “grilled bird”), using every part of the animal, while offering kushiyaki vegetable skewers, elevated bowls of donabe (rice) and Japanese hot plates of the season. Cooked over Binchōtan charcoal, the meat cooks from the inside out, resulting in a succulent texture and a pure finish that brings out the distinctive flavors of each part of the chicken.
Chef Patron Aman Lakhiani’s in-depth understanding of Japanese cooking techniques and ingredients is evident in the expertly executed and grilled dishes. Omakase, which means “I’ll leave it to you”, is the Japanese tradition of letting the chef take control of the entire meal.
