Burger King is launching a new Katsu menu with four burgers – and you can get one for free


Burger fans across the UK will be delighted to hear that the fast food restaurant is launching a brand new range of flavors including four new burgers.

The Katsu Curry range will be on sale at participating restaurants beginning Tuesday, March 8, and features a Japanese-inspired twist on fan-favorite menu items.

The Whopper and Chicken Royale will be remade as Katsu Chilli Whopper and Katsu Royale alongside two meatless, plant-based and vegan options.

If you decide to place an order, you can enjoy a Katsu Chilli Whopper which is topped with cheese and a rich katsu curry sauce and topped with crunchy marinated coleslaw, crispy onions and chili sauce, while the Katsu Royale features crispy onions, mayonnaise, katsu sauce, and crispy pickled coleslaw.

The Plant-Based Katsu Chilli Whopper features Burger King’s signature Plant-Based Whopper Patty with Chilli Sauce, Crispy Onion, Marinated Coleslaw and Katsu Curry Sauce while the Katsu Vegan Royale hosts a Vegan Royale Burger, with katsu sauce, marinated coleslaw, crispy onion and a signature vegan mayo.

The whole delicious range is served in Burger King’s signature French toast and finished with a sprinkle of sesame seeds.

And, to kick off the new range in style, foodies can claim a second free burger with every burger they purchase from the Katsu range on the Burger King app from March 4-7 (just before the collection launches in-store). , you will just need to use the BOGOF coupon at checkout).

The Katsu Chicken Royale and Katsu Vegan Royale will cost you £6.29 on their own or £8.29 as a meal.

Meanwhile, the Katsu Chilli Whopper Double and Katsu Plant-Based Whopper Double will both cost £7.29 on their own or £9.29 for a meal.

Katie Evans from Burger King UK said: “We know Katsu curry is one of the nation’s favorite flavors so we can’t wait for people to try these twists on our classic Whopper and Royale.

“We promise new specialties that maximize flavor, with nearly identical-tasting vegan and vegetarian options.”

The Katsu range is available until September 2022, so fans will need to order through the app or quickly head to their local restaurant to sample the action while the sandwiches are in stock.
