Burger King: 11 tips to save money or get free restaurant food


The Burger King restaurant chain revealed a number of “secret hacks” that customers can make the most of to save money on its menu.

Their ‘Whoppernomics hacks’ range from feeding a family of four for as little as £4.50 each, turning two burgers into three and packing a flame-grilled Cheeseburger without needing any money at all.

In a report Burger King said: “The Whoppernomic hacks come after research found almost 9 in 10 Britons (88%) are feeling the impact of the rising cost of living, with 92% actively looking for new ways to make their money work. .

“Additionally, value for money is now the number one thing people look for when eating out (67%), with the majority (89%) of the nation now more likely to seek restaurant deals. most Britons (87%) are turning to loyalty and rewards programs in an attempt to combat rising costs.”

Free Burger Whopper

If you spend £3 on your first click & collect order with Burger King, you can get a Whopper burger for free.

Burger for £1.99 twice a week

Head to your local restaurant every Monday and Wednesday and get a Plant-Based Whopper or Vegan Royale for £1.99 for Meatless Monday and Whopper Wednesday.

Feed the family for £4.50 each

Through the Burger King app you can get two Whopper or Royale meals for £9.99 and two kids meals for £3.99 each – feed a family of four for under £18 and earn a saving of nearly from £15.

Turn two burgers into three

By signing up for the YourBurgerKing loyalty program, you earn 10 points for every €1 spent.

So if you spend £15 – the equivalent of two gourmet burgers – you get 150 points, which can get you a free menu item in the form of fries, cheeseburger, burger or a regular drink.

Meanwhile, 300 points could net you a free Double Cheeseburger or a serving of Nuggets.

Save on nuggets

Burger King said: “When you order 20 delicious chicken or vegan nuggets through the BK app for just £3.99, you’re paying 5p less per nugget than the equivalent price from you know who.”

Through the Burger King app, you can get six bites of Chilli Cheese for £1.99, saving around 15p per bite.

Sixth visit free

Members of the YourBurgerKing loyalty program get their sixth visit free.

This is based on the use of 200 free points during registration and average spending by Burger King customers.

Thanks to this, a new customer could earn a completely free meal in fewer visits.

Instant freebie by joining the loyalty program

By signing up for YourBurgerKing, a customer automatically receives 200 points, which is enough to claim a cheeseburger, burger or drink without having to spend a penny.​
