Bad Bunny’s ‘Gekkō’ restaurant in Miami is now open. What is on the menu? – NBC 6 South Florida


Bad Bunny’s presence was felt in Miami this past weekend, starting with the official opening of his restaurant on Thursday night.

The world-renowned recording artist has teamed up with David Grutman of Groot Hospitality open Gekkoa “Japanese-inspired steakhouse and lounge”, in Brickell.

Dozens of high-profile guests attended the restaurant’s opening, including Mayor Daniella Levine-Cava, David Beckham and DJ Khaled.

Gekkō was designed to immerse diners in “a fusion of elevated steakhouse environments with the modernity and precision of Japanese cuisine”, according to the restaurant’s website.

Guests can enjoy premium cuts of steak, unique sushi dishes, and seafood appetizers, as well as signature cocktails, an extensive wine list, and bottle service offerings.

Gekkō aims to “transport visitors to an intimate and rare nocturnal world” with an aesthetic inspired by its name, which means “moonlight” in Japanese.

Designed by the award-winning Rockwell Group, the restaurant’s interior features a dark ambiance and rich color palettes with touches of soft golden light.

Following the restaurant’s grand opening, Bad Bunny held the first of two concerts at Hard Rock Stadium on Friday.

The highly anticipated concert did not go without a few incidents which were captured on videos posted on Only in Dade, including a woman running on stage before falling, and a scenario in which a Lamborghini appeared to hit Bad’s Bugatti. bunny.

Thousands of fans then packed Hard Rock Stadium the following evening as Bad Bunny took the stage for a second consecutive night at the venue on Saturday.
