Bacchus with a new multi-course Easter 2022 brunch menu


This Easter weekend, the Bacchus restaurant at the Wedgewood Hotel (845 Hornby Street) presents an exclusive offer Brunch Table d’Hôte Menu, just in time for the spring season. With a variety of sweet and savory creations to choose from, Executive Chef Montgomery Lau and his team have carefully curated a selection of dishes showcasing fresh seasonal ingredients inspired by European flavors. This one-day only Table d’Hôte Brunch Menu is available on Sunday, April 17, 2022, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Reservations can be made in line.

“Easter is one of my family’s favorite holidays, and we wanted to make sure we celebrated the occasion in style at Bacchus,” saidElpie Marinakis, co-owner and general manager of Wedgewood Hotel & Spa. “Our talented chefs have created a sumptuous three-course menu with a variety of different starters and mains to choose from. We hope our guests enjoy and kick off the beginnings of spring at Bacchus.

With the Brunch Table d’Hôte Menu ($72 per person), guests will be treated to a special off-menu menu Welcome Hot Cross Bun Sharing Basket at the arrival. Then they can choose from a variety of Chef Lau’s Easter entrees, such as a Apricot and Pistachio Parfait, Turkey Mulligatawny Soup, Strawberry Kale Salad, Smoked Yellowfin Tuna and Baby Potato Salad, or Beef Tartare Crostini. This range of appetizing dishes also offers a multitude of vegetarian and gluten-free options.

To follow, Lau presents a variety of spectacular entries. Customers can choose from land and sea dishes such as a Pulled Pork on Jalapeño Cornbread, Buttermilk Fried Cornish Hen and Liege Waffles, Pan-Roasted Saddle of Lamb, Salmon Crab Benedict, Where Seared Haida Gwaii halibut. For those with a sweet tooth, Lau highly recommends the Cinnamon Brioche French Toast.

For a sweet finish, the pastry team combine the finest ingredients to create a selection of decadent handmade desserts, including a Honey Ricotta Pie, Butternut Squash Pudding, Wedgewood Chocolate Baras well as a special Selection of Canadian cheeses Where Cuteness.

In addition to the Table d’Hôte Brunch Menu, diners can also discover the royal tradition of afternoon tea by indulging in an irresistible assortment of artisanal delights with Bacchus’ spring novelties. afternoon tea experience ($70 per person).
