Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival
We’re kicking off with food trucks! Throughout the summer, this festival will bring together some of the region’s best food trucks in various cities, ranging from Burnaby to Surrey to Richmond.

Sakura Days Japan Fair 2022
The flagship event of the Cherry Blossom Festival doubles as a delicious way to savor Japanese cuisine and treats. Plus, using VanDusen Garden as the backdrop, you’ll enjoy it in one of the most beautiful areas of the city.

Whiskey & Words
Specific to be sure, but more than worth mentioning. Organized by the Vancouver Writers Fest, this event will give you access to incredible whiskeys from here in British Columbia and around the world. In addition, there will be food to accompany the tastings.

Richmond Night Market
No list of summer food festivals for Vancouver is complete without this inclusion. Home to literally hundreds of vendors, it has become a must for food and drink lovers to visit at least once during the summer months.

Vancouver International Wine Festival
One of the oldest gastronomic events in the city, and for good reason. Try some amazing wines at one of the tastings or refuel with a special dinner/gala.

Italian day on the road
A big outdoor festival? You bet! Although specific dates have yet to be confirmed, Italian Day on the Drive is set to return this year, and we have a feeling it will be bigger than ever.

Greek summer party
Speaking of kitchen-specific options, Greek Summerfest also announced a return this year! You can enjoy it there or pick it up for a delicious picnic at a nearby park. Either it works!

Powell Street Festival
And to complement the specific festivals, we have the Powell Street Festival! It’s similar to Sakura Days, in that it’s focused on Japan, but expect some amazing food vendors alongside the events and activities happening.

Brewery and the Beast
This one-day festival sells out year after year, and we’re sure 2022 will be no exception. Tickets go on sale April 7, so be sure to get yours before they sell out!

Last but not least, we choose the return of the Fruit Beer Fest. Featuring producers from across Canada, it will be a day full of delicious foam to pour, with tasty food for good measure. Plus, a fruit beer in the summer is, in our eyes, a great way to spend the day.
